FITZGERALD PARK
The 78-acre park is operated by the Eaton County Parks and Recreation Commission. The park is open year round and offers six picnic areas, three miles of nature trails, a nature center, fishing ladder, two ball diamonds, a volleyball court, a basketball court, two horseshoe pits, a skateboard park, a playground, a disc golf course, canoeing, sledding, and cross country skiing. Canoes and cross country skis are rented seasonally. Home of the Spotlight Theatre. Located off West Jefferson Street. Phone (517) 627-7351 or (517) 627-9010.



FITZGERALD FIELD
Located in downtown Grand Ledge under the bridge. Home of Pony League baseball. Bleachers, concession stand and restrooms. Ice skating during the winter months..



ISLAND PARK
Around the turn of the century, when train loads of tourists came to Grand Ledge to visit the Seven Island Resort, Island Park was the idyllic setting for the Island House Hotel. Island Park is the setting of many of Grand Ledge festivals, in addition to one of the docking areas for the Princess Laura. It is located downtown just off West River Street. Access is gained by a foot bridge. The gazebo may be used for a variety of affairs, call (517) 627-2149 to reserve.



OAK PARK
Overlooking the river and famous sandstone ledges. The largest outcropping of rocks in Central Michigan and the seventh largest in the state. A rock climbers' paradise located at the end of West Front Street. A picnic area is also available.



JAYCEE PARK / SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER
Located on East River Street at Franklin. Picnic area, pavilion, play areas, volleyball courts, and boat launch. Senior Center may be reserved for small gatherings by calling (517) 627-2149.



LINCOLN BRICK PARK
The 90-acre natural park featuring 3 miles of nature/cross country ski trails, picnic areas, fishing, swimmimg, and recreation areas on Tallman Road, 1/2 mile north of Main Street. For more information, please call (517) 627-7351 or (517) 627-9010.



RIVER PATH
The River Path is a beautiful, scenic 1.5 mile trail which displays the outstanding sandstone ledges on both sides of the river. The path runs between Island Park with Fitzgerald Park.
